Olivia the doll

Olivia the crochet doll

Olivia the doll is a project I’ve been working on for quite a while. Or rather, I started it a while back. I made a first version of the doll about a year ago but I finished writing down the pattern only some weeks ago. Now it has been duly tested and I’m so happy to finally be able to show it to you!

Who is Olivia ?

Now, let’s talk about Olivia herself. She’s a mischievous little girl with big innocent eyes. Change the colour of her dress or her hairstyle to give her a complete makeover.

The doll pattern

The pattern is written in US crochet terms and can be found here.
It is easy enough, has plenty of photos, which puts it within the reach of ambitious beginners.

Skills:  chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet – see ? Nothing complicated!

Why I like Olivia the doll? Because she’s a simple pattern but is easily customized. She works up rather fast – besides the hair, let’s be honest! She’s a very usefull amigurumi doll base.

As always, I did my best to give clear and precise explanations.

Take a look at my tutorials if you need tips , and also do feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

That’s enough talking for now, let’s take a look at the doll!

Sam Pig Crochet pattern

Sam pig crochet pattern Littlemouse Crochet DMC Natura

Sam Pig crochet pattern introduction

I’d been wanting to make a cute, pink little pig for a while but just couldn’t find THE pattern of my dreams. I decided to create my own and that’s how I came up with Sam Pig crochet pattern.

Who is Sam Pig?

Sam is a round, soft, sweet and friendly piglet. Like most pig, he’s got a very sweet tooth. He’s good company and will love to watch you work while he’s having a rest by your side. He’ll be sure to give you moral support.

Interested in making your own? His pattern is available on my Etsy!

The pattern

Sam Pig can be made by beginners provided they are comfortable enough reading patterns. The only slightly more difficult part is the head. You can use any type of yarn as long as you use a matching hook. The pattern is written in US crochet terms.

Stitches used are single crochet, chain, increase, decrease (or invisible decrease)  front loop only, back loop only.

Why do I like Sam Pig? Because he tastes delicious? Of course not! I like him because of his sweet little face and because he is all round. It doesn’t take very long to make him and the patterns really goes into details and includes more than 40 photos to help you make a perfect little pig!

I always try to be as precise and clear as possible in my explanations.

Feel free to  check out tutorials to make an even more beautiful Sam Pig! If you have any questions, please contact me and I’ll be happy to help you!

And now, let’s admire the rockstar:

Mister Mouse crochet pattern

Mr Mouse Littlemouse Crochet pattern Grundl quick cotton

Mister Mouse Crochet Pattern introduction

Who is Mister Mouse?

Mister Mouse is my very first proper pattern, and as such, he holds a very special place in my heart.

Don’t be fooled by his sweet and innocent little face: though he is a bit shy, Mr Mouse is playful, curious and full of mischief! He’s also an incredible little help and he’s always close to hand, with a ball of yarn or a needle between his paws.

Interested in making your own Mr Mouse? The pattern is available on my Etsy shop!

The pattern

This pattern is for beginner to intermediate level crocheters. Mr Mouse can be made from any type of yarn, as long as you use a hook of matching size of course. My advice is to take a hook that is smaller than the size suggested on the yarn label. This will help prevent your project being holey.

Stitches used are single crochet, increases, decreases (or invisible decreases if you prefer).

Why I like the Mister Mouse crochet pattern: besides being cute, Mr Mouse is quick and easy to make! And honestly, who can resist those big ears and pink nose?

Like all of my patterns, this pattern includes lots of photos to help you along the way. I always try to be as precise and clear as possible in my explanations

But just in case you need help making him, check out my tutorials and feel free to contact me.

So pick up your hook, Mr Mouse is waiting for you!

If you don’t feel like crocheting Mr Mouse, or if you are not a crocheter but would like to have him by your side, please contact me, I can make him on request.
