The pattern for Truffles will help you make a realistic looking rabbit using fluffy yarn. The pattern is for advanced crocheters, but if you have a more intermediate level, do feel free to give it a try since every step is explaned in details. Pattern written in US crochet terms.

Truffles is a wild rabbit. He is curious and vivacious and he’s the sweetest of fluffy creatures.

CROCHET SKILLS: chain, single crochet, increase, decrease (invisible decrease), slip stitch, half double crochet, working with fluffy yarn.

LEVEL: advanced

MATERIAL : Yarn King Cole Embrace: Gunmetal (⅔ of a skein) and white (a few grams).

2.5 mm hook. 

OR for a taupe rabbit :

Nako Paris: Taupe (⅔ of a skein) and cream (a few grams)

2.25 mm hook, tapestry or embroidery needle, stitch marker. 

2mm  hook. Please note the amount of yarn used may vary depending on your crocheting style. You can use any type of yarn as long as you use a matching hook.

Glass or plastic flat back beads for the eyes (the size depends on your choice of yarn and hook, I used 6 mm eyes).

Needle felting needle and block, or felt (close to main color and light pink).

Yarn needle, doll making needle (or long yarn needle).

Stitch marker or remaining yarn.

Strong fabric or shoe glue.

Fiberfill for stuffing.

Metallic brush, such as a pet brush.

Pins.

Optional: pastel or eyeshadow and a paintbrush.
